Sinking “The Fat Tub”
Almost a year and a half ago (has it been that long?) I participated in a weight-loss “group” with some bloggers and epreneurs headed by Colin Devroe. During the summer, combined with both the group and preparing for the renaissance festival, I did indeed lose about 15-20 lbs over the course of the summer. Not bad.
But like all good things, I got lazy. Especially during the winter, and then last year I wasn’t working out swordfighting, so I’ve grown and grown. And now, I seem to be a proud owner of a blue Rubbermaid storage tub that I have dubbed “The Fat Tub.” It contains all of the clothes I was “so proud” to wear a year and a half ago, but now cannot fit into.
I want to empty that tub.
I have some other health related things going on right now (I Think) that I want to take care of before I start a new program, but by Hook or by Crook, that tub shall be sank by this summer. Or better yet, replaced by “clothes that are too big.”
Do you have a ‘Fat Tub” or “Fat Pile” or maybe its called your “Thin Pile” or “stuff I can’t wear anymore” pile?

I have to laugh. I have my own blue Rubbermaid fat tub as well! Of course I have never called it my fat tub but that is really a good name for it. I found you from Michael Martine’s site. - Ashley
Here’s a thought, can you pose it that same position in your banner all year long, take one pic a day, then create an animated gif of your progress? Might be an extra motivator as well.
I’ve yet to pick up my tub, but I should soon. Clothes are still hanging and will remain there for the foreseable future.
Definitely gained the “freshman 15″ since starting my masters.
I’ve gradually stopped running due to ankle problems and have had the same problem. I’m trying to gradually change some of my habits to get rid of my paunch. Another “remarkable” find from MM.

Troy I wish I could say “No” but it’s not true - blogging and working more than working out has sent my close to the dreaded blue tub too - (Not good when you live in a Beach Community - can’t hide behind sweaters (lol)
Grrrr sounds like we have the same achilles heel - only mine is located around my waist.
hmmmm What will the new year bring? Glad Michael Martine helped us meet - Cyndee Haydon
